do you have the SBUS wire of the air unit connected to the FC?
it was once working fine but I followed someones tune settings on youtube and now its like this
so remove that wire to disconnect it from the fc
its the pavo20
the tune shouldn't really affect it, unless it's a whole config that changes the receiver and ports tab settings..
and if it only happens when you have the lipo on, and works fine with just usb, then it's more likely that sbus wire
so just plug the sbus wire in and out ?
you will completely disconnect that wire from the harness
i.e. !depin it from the plug on both sides to take it out
If your device has too many wires in the connector - this most often happens on FC-ESC cables, but also on analog and digital VTXs. DJI especially has an issue on the Air Unit, Vista, and O3 Air unit with the SBUS signal messing up other connections and devices, and you may need to remove it if you're not using the DJI Remote Controller 2.
It m...
this shit is hurting my head now honestly
you should've known coming in this is a technical hobby
...
if removing wires fazes you, then this ain't for you.
could the cli be the problem or what u said is the only solution?
bc i changed that as well
unplug the air unit for now.
plug in a LiPo
connect to betaflight configurator and go into receiver tab, and check if you still have the channels moving
then something else is not correct, possibly with whatever "tune" you put in
restore the config to factory, and keep it at that
everything was working perfectly fine.. btw i dont have a problem with removing wires.. its this elrs and connectivity part.. i love building
im not sure on how to restore factory settings
everything was working perfectly fine
so why ruin it with a tune?
i was a little shit a flying
you didn't saved a backup before you applied the "tune"?
so it's not perfectly fine then
LMAo
i mean i thought that has to do with the tune.. i didnt realize fixing that would create a whole new problem
it was feeling racey
here's the page where you can find the factory config dump
https://support.betafpv.com/hc/en-us/articles/23244448530201-CLI-and-Firmware-for-Pavo-20-F405-2-3S-20A-V1-0-FC
thank you
it should be already tuned from factory..
I don't have to do any tuning with mine
well ur most likey a way better pilot
flies okay.. but I don't also try to freestyle it as that's not made for that
if this is your rationale, then a tune will not make one any better
i would move my stick a lil and its going full speed
LMAO
bro so u was up and flying perfect ur first time ?
yes.. I've put ws on it
idk im not gonna lie my first time fpv this shit hard LMAo
ima get super nice watch
and u are gonna be the first personn i show watch
I've been trying to flash this firmware but it keeps saying "failed to open serial port"
what firmware? you do not need to flash any firmware
the hex file
you just need to apply the factory CLI dump from that page, which is in txt format
well that worked
im going to test it now
fixed
thank you mr.goat
it was the CLI for sure
thats why when u told me about taking a wire off i was confused. im like it was just working fine
you're not going to use the sbus wire and it often causes issues with elrs receivers..
so that is one of my primary suspects
ok i will keep that in mind
i built a 5inch too but i dont even want to touch that until i feel comfortable
how do i fly a lil slower with the pavo i feel like every subtle movement makes it go super fast
- practice, practice, practice (either in a sim or IRL)
- lower your camera angle. high camera angle requires you to pitch a lot, and thus require you to set a much higher throttle level so as not to crash the drone and keep it in the air, resulting into a much faster flight
- lower your rates, so you do not have to make fast corrections
- fly in angle mode for a while
