Hello members! I'm looking for some answers what l couldn't find. Recently I bought a Radiomaster RP4TD receiver and had some issues with it. Several times I had the problem, that the RSSI looked normal (-50-60dBm), but the link randomly failed. It happened on the same spot in a field after a battery change, where I flew happily just before (it is an open field couple hundred meters from any building). Yesterday I discovered, that the receiver from the box was configured Gemini and not diversity. Could this be the source of the problem?
I'm using a Radiomaster Boxer, with the built in elrs module. Thanks!
#Gemini Rx setting messing with reception?

Gemini setting shouldn't "mess" with the reception.
-50dBm is not normal, especially with the RP4TD on a Bench Test seting
Thanks! It happened mid flight. About 150 meters out.
And now I’m a bit worried to go fly, as I haven’t debugged the problem yet.
have you done the !benchtest?
Follow this tutorial to bench test your hardware before you fly:

No not yet. I haven’t had problems before with elrs. I will try it! Thanks!
It is -30-35dB above 95% LQ in the telemetry
are you on EU_CE domain?
Yepp now for the bench is 25mW Tx power
okay.. that is within expectations for eu_ce
do you have 3.4.3 flashed on both devices? (tx and rx)
I’m on 3.3.0 on everything I have
definitely update to 3.4.3 as that got a LOT of eu_ce improvements and fixes
Okay I didn’t know that. Will try. It was just strange to me, that randomly fails my connection, which was perfect a minute ago. 🙂 Now I go and start the update. Will keep you posted. Thanks!
