go into the cli and execute the command version
post the output here
i don't know what you mean by cli could you be more specific
connect drone to betaflight configurator
go into the CLI tab
type in version into the text box at the bottom and press enter
copy-paste the output here
ok
and which "wrong software" did you installed?
version
Betaflight / STM32F411 (S411) 4.4.0 Feb 14 2023 / 05:25:45 (4605309d8) MSP API: 1.45
config: YES
board: manufacturer_id: BEFH, board_name: BETAFPVF411
close betaflight configurator, unplug usb.. for now
i searched for a youtube tutorial and tried to install a file with my binding phrase but i think i selected the wrong reciver for the drone
https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/receivers/betafpv2400/
this is the updating guide..
FOLLOW this guide
should it complain of Target Mismatch, click on Flash Anyway
AS LONG AS you have selected the correct target from the configurator (betafpv AIO target)
use the same binding phrase you used/set into the boxer internal module when you flashed it and they should just autobind
ok got it
i got an error, this was the log
======== PASSTHROUGH INIT ========
Trying to initialize /dev/cu.usbmodem0x80000001 @ 420000
No CLI available. Already in passthrough mode?, If this fails reboot FC and try again!
======== RESET TO BOOTLOADER ========
- Using full duplex (CRSF)
Cannot detect RX target, blindly flashing!
esptool.py v4.2.1
Serial port /dev/cu.usbmodem0x80000001
WARNING: Pre-connection option "no_reset" was selected. Connection may fail if the chip is not in bootloader or flasher stub mode.
Connecting...
what was the green LED on the board do?
If this fails reboot FC and try again!
step 1 of the guide says you should unplug-replug the fc and reboot it (unplug-replug lipo if you're plugging it in)
it was a solid green, wasn't flashing
follow the procedure below
now the passthrough goes well, but i still get the "Cannot detect RX target, blinding flashing!"
have you changed anything on the flight controller configuration other than what's already stated?
e.g. did you changed the ports tab settings?
i think so i'll double check
i set everything right
the only thing i changed was telemetry as it was reported here to switch it off
you are "Exitting DFU mode"?
yes
can you please post the full !log here of your latest attempt please
and which target did you flashed into it for it to end up soft-bricked?
betaflight 2.4 AIO
can you try a different port or computer altogether?
you mean betafpv aio RX.. ?
because, if you did things right, it should be working
yes rx
i can try another port
