So my dear FPV friends!
I won't lose hope with my 5" Cinewhoop, even if many attempts have failed.
My specs:
Size: 5 inches
Cells: 6s
Frame: Source One V5
Stack: F405 V3 BLS 50A
Engines: Emax Eco II 1900kv
Receiver: ExpressLRS RP1
Vtx: Unify Pro32 HV
Camera: Caddx Ratel 2
Lipos: 6s 1300mAh
Props: 4" Da 200g propguards from stanfpv: https://stanfpv.com/products/5-injected-universal-ducted-propeller-guards-removable-top-optional...
I have this propeller guard for tracking my friends in the woods and just for safety concerns and it's just more comfortable for me..
With everything it weighs 826 grams. With GoPro Hero 9 about 1kg.
Problem: My Emax Eco 2 motors overheat so much that the drone crashes after hovering for 10-20 seconds.
I bought new propellers (gemfan 4032) before (gemfan 4052).
The manufacturer of the prop guards said that less tilt in the propellers should help. Unfortunately they didn't.
Another FPV pilot who has exactly the same prop guards (his copter apparently weighs 825g with everything including GOPRO!
His setup:
XING2 2306 1755kv motors
6S 1300mah battery
Dji o3
speedybee f7 v3 stack
m10 gps
AOS 5 v2 frame 5"
Everything works for him. I've been wondering for a long time...
I once created a weight table (see picture) and in theory mine weighs 120 grams less than on the scales. Funny anyway!
I will send photos of the two copters soon.
Do you have a theory?
It would be really great if I could fly again.
The one picture with the blue propellers is his. The one with the gray ones is mine.
If you want the absolute best performance and you're willing to switch motors - you can fly 10+ mins per ducted flight with cold motors and amazing performance with my 2604 1690kv pro motors! They were specifically designed for this task! 🔥"
New propellers didnt help either.
Is it a problem with the filters or pid tunes?
