#problem flashing HM es24tx pro on qx7
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Did you read the giant red advisory message at the top of the flashing guide and every release note?
https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/transmitters/es24tx/
I'd recommend flashing via uart/usb
No I hadn't I was just doing it off of the Bardwell video, I have flashed it to a v2 version before, but not the v2.5.2 I will try that
I couldn't get the driver to work that I believe is needed to do that
alright i got a successful flash to v2.5.2 but i still get the same errors when trying to flash to v3.2.1
Are you following the instructions?
Either flash via USB or use the repartitioner via WiFi
Yeah I followed every step on that page exactly
post the log from your via UART attempt please
!log
and post a screenshot of Device Manager with the module plugged into usb.. expand the Ports device grouping
And a photo of the dipswitches position on the module
IF you're following the steps for via UART flashing, there should be no problems on any of these two..
I haven't done a uart yet, do I need the driver cp210?
weren't you following EVERY step from the page?
so FOLLOW the via UART steps from the same page please..
k
If one method is giving you a hard time, try the others.. there's multiple ways to get a device flashed/updated..
Did you flash the repartitioner.bin?
well I feel incredibly dumb, i read to the flash to v2.5.2 part of the advisory and then when I read the rest and flashed the repartitioner and followed bardwells vid it worked im sorry for wasting your time with my idiocy, have a great day!
