Hello everyone! I am trying to bind my new Jumper T Pro internal ELRS with HappyModel EP1 dual TCXO receiver. After some tries I was able to flash my jumper with latest EdgeTX 2.8.3 and ELRS 3.2.1 with binding phrase. Also I flashed my receiver with ELRS 3.2.1 with the same binding phrase (check the screens).
Unfortunately, there are some problems.

  1. Jumper doesn't see my receiver. On turning on Jumper keeps telling me not receiver found and showing me "-" sign in right upper corner of ELRS lua script. Receiver keeps blinking red light (WiFi mode). On long press on the "boot" button receiver changes color to green and keeps slowly blinking (I guess it means no connection with the transmitter established). My lua script hangs when I try to choose "bind", but as far as I know I don't need to click it, cause my firmware uses bind phrase.
  2. After all of my flashing attempts I noticed that "ExpressLRS TX" network is activated as soon as I turn on my Jumper! That is incorrect behavior, WiFI should be activated in lua script I guess. Maybe this behavior is blocking pairing. How can I prevent that? Reflashing transmitter elrs and edgetx doesn't solve the problem
I am just starting my FPV hobby, so hope I didn't miss something. Looking for your help, guys!

Set auto wifi on interval on the TX to a non-zero value, like the default 60s

I also added the photo of my wiring. Rx receiver pin wired to Tx controller pin, and vise versa. My drone is cinebot30. I successfully flashed my receiver via betaflight passthrough method, so wiring shouldn't be a problem I guess. Still do not understand what I am missing...

"what does the receiver LED do when powered up?"
three fast red blinks on start up, then a little pause, then unstoppable fast red blinking

via passthrough would be best.. reflash with 3.2.0

"how many characters does your binding phrase have?"
it is 7 characters

set auto-wifi interval to the default 60s interval (for the receiver from what it has currently: 30)

Well I tried most of all ELRS combinations this evening with extended passphrase or not on both receiver and transmitter. I even wired boot pad with switch on my Jumper to flash rx and tx not by wifi to make sure flashing is correct on both sides. Finally, I took into consideration your thought about abnormal blinking patterns on rx. I unsoldered receiver module and noticed that there is short circuit between 5v and gnd. It seems I got some leakage somewhere on the plate. Unfortunately, I have not found it yet and it seems it is kind of impossible mission due to plate small size. Also there is no possibility to check my tx cause I got only one receiver, whatever now I am 95% sure that the problem is with the rx. Receiver always started with three red blinks in all of my experiments today before unsoldering. Could you please tell me which blinking pattern is correct for passphrase flashed firmware?

https://www.expresslrs.org/quick-start/led-status/#receiver-led-status

these are the receiver LED patterns.

what's abnormal with yours is that it will blink 3x and then immediately goes into fast blinking/wifi mode..

a receiver that's bound shouldn't go into wifi mode.

3x blinking, pause and repeats - per the illustration in the page I linked, is model mismatch. means it's bound, just that the model selected in the radio do not match with the model ID set on the receiver (can be a false positive, can easily be remedied).

The LEDs on both the ExpressLRS Receivers and Transmitter Modules are very helpful diagnostic tool in determining the current status of the device.
