In betaflight receiver tab none of the bars move, but I get telemetry recovered telemetry lost

post a photo of the receiver wiring please..
and post screenshots of ports tab and receiver tab..

also post a screenshot of the ExpressLRS Lua Script loaded on the Tools page of the System Menu on the radio with the rx and tx bound/conected..

I think I figured out what it is related to

it wasn't set to crsf, but now when I try to set it to crsf it just disappears

did you flashed your FC with CRSF radio protocol support?

unless it's an SPI elrs receiver

It's an old version of BF so I don't think it's an option to remove

BF 3.5.2 is the newest I can use

yeah I'm using the old one.

I had tried updating it before but it had failed. I have fixed the driver since then so I'm gonna try and flash it rq

I got it. My uart 1 didn't have serial Rx for some reason

does your receiver and TX module still binds?
can you post a photo of the ExpressLRS Lua Script screen in the radio System Menu -> Tools page with the tx and rx both powered up and bound please
