Hello,
my hardware is R9M +esp01f
running latest firmware and LUA

I did build latest backpack firmware in the configurator, added my SSID and password there. Connected to my transmitters WiFi (ExpressLRS TX Backpack) and did upload firmware.
Now when I press ''Enable Backpack WiFi'' in the LUA it still only shows it's own hotspot, doesn't join my home network ssid?
When I connect to the tx-hotspot and go to Network tab there I can enter my ssid and password there and my transmitter joins my home network for the current session.

I read ELRS TX can now be used as BLE joystick. https://oscarliang.com/expresslrs-bluetooth-joystick/
Does it need special hardware because I don't see this option [BLE Joystick] in my LUA?

Your ExpressLRS TX module has Bluetooth, and you can use it to connect to your computer to play FPV simulators without connecting the USB cable. I will show you how to set it up in…

Thanks, so I would need to buy an esp based RX to use as backpack in my TX for the BLE Joystick.

BLE Joystick is not a function of the backpack

I think I got it now^^

Any Ideas what I could try to make it connect to my home network automatically?

good candidates: betafpv flat/tower, foxeer lite, ep2, etc

(you don't need the antenna)

Thanks for the suggestion, but I would prefer not to buy another RX and rather use my currently wired up esp01f.

Idk, it does let me connect to it's own WiFi and update firmwares, I can join my network manually, just not automatically. If I did it wrong it shouldn't work at all, or am I wrong?

I did just copy the WiFi credentials I put in the configurator to the webGui Network page, it lets me join with these, so they can't be wrong. Router is in the same room as I am rn.
