there's boss fights with custom stats, war zone, phantom pain cage (you can even reset the current week or just not save or play outlier)
I'm saying the only thing that's different in simulated siege is the buffs you can pick, beside that it's just restrictive and not rewarding. it's literally a war zone with boss unit but you are forced to choose from 9 handpicked characters.
