Acc it might not matter. Basically after the hold blue, u can press the glowing red ping and either: cut off the end of the animation by spam pressing ult, or, let the animation play out and at the last few frames sneak a red 3p in there then press ult

A few things:

• Watanabe builds 4 alpho 4 shakes for fire team, and 4 alpho 4 dv in ignition (with Dante Vero) as well as upcoming darkflow team with Liv, and if you don't have Pyroath and need Vera to dps. So I'd recommend you have 4 alpho 4 dv on him, and just get 6x class skill reso if you can.
• You Vera is built for QTE, which is fine, but if you want to use her in fire (which would be your dps), you should build 4 shakes 4 cottie on her. Alternatively, you can go 4 Hevor 4 Cottie, but that's for solo dps purely, and you would have to rebuild her in the future if you get Pyroath. So, for now consider building 4 Shakes 4 Cottie. 6x atk 6x ult for reso.
• Daemonissa. You have no other dark s frames besides her, so it is probably good that you finish buliding her so you can clear dark content. You current build of 4 Barc 4 Cottie is fine, just remember in order to solo with her you would need DLT weapon reso
• Secator. Low priority since she's A frame.
• Veronica. For your case she's low priority since your Watanabe is not built. Because you already have a Dante ignition team ready with Nanami and Vera, you should continue using that for now. Only start considering building Vero when you hit SS.
• Pianissimo. You don't have Hanyin atm, and your Vero is only S, so you basically don't have a phy team, but you can still solo with her with A rank tanks if you'd like. You do have Wanshi and Echo, so you could build Selena for glacio as well. It would require you to leap Echo and build 4 guin 4 dv on her. Your wanshi build is correct. Glacio is a separate build for Selena, which I'm not very well versed in so maybe ask @mighty tusk

SSS+ for A frames are free and you are gaurenteed to get it on their release patch, so everyone will have that. It's just they are mechanically inferior to S frames (by design). They are for fun, not for meta if you know what I mean.

In this game, sometimes playing solo for an S-rank frame with a team of two support characters is better than you would play when switching between SSS+ A-rank and an S-rank meta character.

Moreover, most of the characters do not require huge investments for solo play. SS + sig + DLT (1 wep reso) is most often sufficient

I play SSS bianca and it's common for me to spam red orbs before every ulta. Moreover, it also works quite well for the SS. As if I'm saving a little time, in my opinion.. Of course, if I had DLT, which is essentially unnecessary, it would happen faster.
