Depend on patch, what I notice is - Triple patch : Adv ppc = 144 skull total
Ex ppc = 160 skulls total, mean you get 16 extra skull if you can do 1.8M in triple patch.
There also Intensive Battle will unlock , you can get extra skull depend on your ranking.

All characters are worth getting to SS. But in terms of priority... I can't say, not very experienced there ^^' SS whoever you want first, or someone can recommend who you SS first.

As for next character, get Lucia Pyroath. If you have Lilith Daemonissa, you have an almost fully functional Plasma team that can do stupid amounts of damage.
