no ss rank = unplayable for every single char in the game
if you don't have pyro, it means you can't do literally anything against 2 fire bosses and 1 plasma boss, which pretty much guaranteed to be in half of ppc weeks per patch
which means if you don't have pyro your skulls income will be completely bricked, even 5* pyro is better than literally 0

You will be able to get all units, but you might not be able to get all signature weapons. Only get sigs when:

1. that sig changes the playstyle a lot/doesn't just increase damage

2. when you know that you'll have enough to get the next unit

So yeah just keep doing dailies and weeklies it won't take a lot of time at all per day, maybe like 15 mins or so
