I myself don't have many sigs either, but if you have like 4 or more due to off rates then ig scrapping would be fine, considering:

1. You're low on bc and need a necessary sig.
2. Since you don't have many sigs anyways the spare off rate sigs can't be used for reso.
   So yeah if after scrapping 3 you still have 1 or 2 spare off rate sigs then go scrap

In general, mulching three weapons for one is not a good trade, and most of the new S ranks want their sig and dlt resonance for smooth flow.
If you have three spare weapons, and extara weapons or resonance usb, mulching is an option, but one to be used very carefully.
