Pyroath is the new playable frame for our girl Lucia in the game that's debuting in Shaper's Ripples update, Featuring S rank Attacker Omniframe that deals fire damage with multiplie form and Plasma Beam effects mechanism.

• How good is Pyroath?

Pyroath is the latest Fire Attacker in the game with insane DPS output, multiple forms of attacks including Plasma form that make Pyroath deals Plasma damage as sub element type after fire, indirectly making her way more necessary for more than one team in the game.

• What is Plasma Beam effects?

Plasma Beam is one of the effects in the game, effects system is added to the game since Stars Ensnared and it's similar to secondary type of the existing damage types in the game that still benefit the base element buff/debuffs towards the effects type. In this case Plasma Beam is the secondary type of Lightning damage, means Plasma Beam can benefit any Lightning buff/debuffs that comes from your unit. Effects will eventually have the respective gamemode content in the game and that moment unit with effects would be really needed to clear said content.

Pyroath is gonna be the best dps in the game in her debut. As a beginner, she can carry you through early and halfway to the game fairly easy. With Pyroath having multiple elements within her skill kits, making her really important for end game content completion due to being the only one that features Plasma Beam effects.

• Which banner should I pull for her?

Always remember to pull on Themed Event Construct banner for 100% rate S rank character drop and low pity of 60.

• Should I get her dupes?

For f2p players getting her dupe wouldn't be a priority as you can get a total of 30 shards of Pyroath from Pain Cage shop for free once you own her, which is enough for SS rank. If you're a spender getting Pyroath dupes are worth considering.

• What is the good stopping point for her ranks up?

SS rank Pyroath is already pretty good by herself and already enough for most of cases, SS3 and SSS Rank Pyroath are fairly big upgrades you can get for such a price that if you're a spender it is worth considering getting.

• What does she get on SS3 and SSS rank?

SS3

• gain 40 energy instantly from the first basic follow up after swap in
• basic hold dmg increase in eclipse mode, increases qte dmg after casting ult and swapping out
  SSS
• the first basic follow up with red orb gain star mark.

• Does she needs her 6★ signature weapon?

Yes, it is highly recommended.

• What does her signature weapon do?

Besides more dmg overall, her 6★ weapon also refunds 3 more signal orbs after casting Signature Move - Auxiliary Precision Slash (hold ult in burst mode) and activate matrix forcefully after casting signature move when matrix is available.

• Should I pull for her weapon?

If you're a spender it's highly recommended to get it. For f2p players it is recommended to consider for her sig after you think you can guarantee enough pulls for future characters first before pulling any weapon, always prioritize character over any equipment. After you have enough leftovers from character pulls, u can start considering a weapon for Pyroath.

• Is she playable with only 5★ weapon?

Only partly, having orb refunds and forced matrix from signature weapon really helps pyroath rotation in general, without those getting multiple signature moves would be difficult, and your access to Deadline Timing resonance would also be blocked for more orbs to extend Pyroath rotation. Without it she's still playable in the fire team but she's gonna be stuck with singular rotation and needed to be swapped out afterwards because she left with nearly no signal orbs or energy to recover back without wasting too much time.

• Does she need weapon resonance?

Getting 1 resonance at least for her would benefit you a lot both low invest and higher investment. With 1 resonance you can have Deadline Timing for more orbs generation and further extend her rot, especially for Plasma Beam rot. The difference between having deadline timing and not is pretty noticeable especially in longer stages such Warzone stage.

• Should I get Harmony upgrade for her weapon?

Yes, it's worth it.

• What is the best Harmony set for her weapon?

Her recommended Harmony set is Cottie set in general. Although, in Plasma Beam setup she'd prefer to use Wilde set as Harmony set for further dmg boost towards Plasma mode.

• Should I pull for her cub?

If you're a f2p player, it is not recommended unless you have a clear and certain plan with your f2p Black Cards that don't risk future character saving. For spenders it's pretty much given if you bought the 1st Paid Battle Pass with cub tickets.

• How do I play her in a fire team?

Before getting into rotation, it is highly recommended to complete the in game tutorial of Pyroath along with the challenge stage with Pyroath (or trial of her if u haven't obtained her yet) to make it easier learning and understanding her gameplay.

A friendly reminder, the bare minimum investment for all the team members in a Pyroath to be worth doing swap rotation are:

• SS Rank Pyroath, 5* weapon
• S Rank Epitaph, 5* weapon # or SS0 rank Startrail, 5* weapon
• S Rank Empyrea, 5* weapon
  Lacking one of the team member for the proper swap team means you are forced to play solo with Pyroath.

# : Startrail ignition effect mode can reduces fire dmg resistance on the enemies, so if you can play it out properly Nanami can be used as an alternative fire tank in pyroath team in a case you are lacking Epitaph. BUT this is only applicable if you have Pyroath with signature weapon and deadline timing resonance to be able to pull out Pyroath optimal damage with rotation, otherwise with any lower investment solo pyroath and Bridget as a budget tank would still better because how 5* Pyroath is very limited.

For the basic rotation, the idea goes starting with Liv, and swap to Epitaph for one quick ult rotation only as opening, this is meant to start Epitaph Off-field shred from his tank and signature set passive so his shred coverage would be optimal. After using Epitaph ult swap to Pyroath and do one rotation with eclipse combo as opening, doing double ult rotation on the first swap will eventually run into energy/orb issues in later runs making it unnecessarily harder for longer fights especially in warzone. After Pyroath, switch to Empyrea until Epitaph swap is available again. As soon as Epitaph is available, switch to Epitaph and do double ult rotation (if you have his signature weapon) as the sub dps in the fire team, back to Pyroath after Epitaph done with double rotation and Pyroath will do 2 ult rotation (requires deadline Timing weapon resonance), after she's done swap again to Empyrea until Epitaph is available and do double rotation with epitaph again afterwards and back to Pyroath.
After that you just gonna repeat the whole rotation again until the stage is done.

in a summary, the rotation goes

• Empyrea start > swap epitaph > hold dodge and attack to trigger matrix > do the necessary orb ping and basic attack to accumulate enough blaze rot for enough ult energy > ult > swap to pyroath > hold ult to enter burst mode > use red ping and basic attack follow up to accumulate enough gauge and hold attack to gain a star mark > enter her eclipse form > hold basic to use swordwave > ult > swap to Empyrea > do all the necessary combo with her orb until epitaph is available > swap to Epitaph > enter ult with orb ping and do everything you needed to get to ult > if you have epitaph 6* weapon, u can extend his rotation to do double rotation before swapping to Pyroath again > swap to pyroath and do double signature rotation before once again swapping to empyrea to repeat.

• How do I rotate her in a fire team?

Start with Liv, u want to swap to Epitaph first and Cast his ultimate for off field shred. On the first swap in, you want to do one rotation only and swap out instantly. This makes early waves progression easier and reserved signal orbs for later rotation.
The input goes:

Swap in > Basic attack after swap in for follow up > hold signature/ult to enter burst mode > 3 red ping 3 times > basic > hold basic > tap ult to enter eclipse mode > hold basic > ult > swap out````

> After you finish pyroath rotation, swap to Empyrea and do her rotation, swap to epitaph and for this time do double rotation, swap back to Pyroath.
> At this point, you can start doing double ult rot with pyroath consistently considering you have dlt on pyroath. You can do it by following these input:
