If you're a spender, you can consider one dupe of him from the banner and unlock him right away and use 50 shards of him from dispatch shop to rank up, that way you save about 20 less shards if you're aiming for higher rank Wanshi such SSS rank.

Base S rank Lucid Dreamer is already playable, but SS rank makes him comfortable for a proper rotation in the ice team, giving him more energy and improvement in orb usages. Before attempting, you need at minimum of SS rank Lucid Dreamer for optimal rotation in an ice team with Shukra and Kaleido, it is highly recommended to complete in-game tutorials for Lucid Dreamer for better understanding in rotation and gameplay. Lucid Dreamer has 2 rotation variations with different signature move and core passive.

To start, you want to swap into wanshi directly and do the signature move 1, let's call it gun ult. This is meant for off field shred that wanshi provides after ult and signature memories for better tank shred coverage for qu.
The input:

Swap in > 3 pings > hold special red orb and release > tap red orb 6 times to use 6 bullets > tap special red orb again to summon a gun > tap red orb again to catch it > repeat red orb tapping 6 times to spend 6 bullets > use signature move.

After that, you want to swap to shukra right away and benefits the off field tank shred that wanshi provided after ult, based on qu investment you can do either mix 1 weak and 1 strong ult or 2 strong ult with dlt equipped. Finish Shukra rotation and swap to Ayla if wanshi cooldown hasn't ended yet

Once wanshi is able to be swapped into again, you want to use the 2nd variants of signature move, let's call it airborne ult. This signature is specifically done first because it benefits the number stacks from wanshi cylinder bar at the bottom, the higher the number the strongest the ult it and with following the sequence below, u can maximize his damage:

Swap in > 1 3p > hold red and release to enter core > hold basic attack > tap red to do first reload mid air > tap red to summon a gun > tap red again to automatically grab it > use signature move

Using this sequence you will be able to use 2nd variants of signature move that uses the stack you've gained in previous rotation. At this point after you use up points to enchant signature move, repeat the first ult sequence and spend bullet for gun ult, this is useful for the next airborne ult for reaching max stack.
