imagine an rc tournament in your area that has 5 tracks. each track has a different gimmick and/or mechanic, so you need 5 different rc's to be at the very least in the high ranks; your time on all tracks are then combined to give you a score.

lets also say that the organisers also have special upgrades for your rcs, but they're only available by getting scores which is converted to points on certain tracks. you run into a problem; your rcs dont have said upgrades yet, so your score will naturally be lower, earning you less points to buy these upgrades.

lets say you do manage to grind your way for months without spending a dime. cool. 5 rc's, ready to go.

now imagine having to do that for another 5 rcs because the organisers decide to add more semi-different tracks bc why not.

and they also made semi-different tracks to get upgrades too!

pgr has always been a game where you can thrive and succeed, even with limited resources and f2p status- to be in the same tier as spenders in terms of skill
