Assuming they don't hold basic and the wave they Ult on is a dead wave that could have been finished off by hold basic, you then end up in a scenerio where you have less wave progress and now your weaker unit has to deal with a full Hp enemy that could have been hit with the full brunt of your Lamia Ult┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌

Like I said, this wouldn't apply to higher invest (actual swappable) but at that invest (no sig) every little bit off damage and progress is important ┐⁠(⁠￣⁠ヘ⁠￣⁠)⁠┌
