i would say yes because laurel is REALLY outdated and her weapon doesnt provide anything crazy for her
you will not be even remotely competitive with lamia havers anyway so your laurel could do just fine with her 5* weapon

allowing you to have 4+4 memory sets on a char
or 4+2+2
as opposed to the regular 4+2
