the accelerators you get aren't gated by the timer; they are obtained when you simply finish said stage, and your operators- hence, the skill floor aka the bare minimum

the skill ceiling, however, give mundane things, like small vouchers, and a frame; its enough to entice hardcore fans, and easy enough to supply casuals

the same is also applied in wuwa's tower of adversary! you get 75 asterites, all the way until the final 3, where the hardest of challenges remain
