TLDR on how to BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER

• BRS only has Red and Yellow Orbs. Her Blue Orbs get stacked by the amount of red and yellow 3pings you use
• Blue Orbs get automatically pinged when you use her ult 2 dealing additional damage
• BRS allows up to 3 3pings of the same colour orb to be pinged simultaneously, cancelling the animation of the previous 3ping and stacking up the damage.
• BRS has a gauge at the bottom of the screen which gets filled very slowly via basic attack and 1ping and 2pings. 3x 3pings are enough to fill the gauge fully. Filling the gauge with the 3rd 3ping will allow BRS to deal massive damage with a special follow up attack.
• BRS's 5th basic attack gives her a star above her gauge which you can use by holding down the basic attack button after the 4th or 5th basic attack. Pressing the button again after the sequence will get you another star which you can use for another sync attack.
• Ult 1 allows her to enter Ult form for a fixed duration which can be seen on the small gauge below her big gauge. You use 3x 3pings to fill the big gauge, then ult 2 to deal massive damage with ROCK★CANNON
• Be sure to tap the basic attack after pressing ult 1 to get some more damage which isn't shown in her tutorial.

Black★Rock Shooter or BRS from the Black★Rock Shooter series is an A rank Attacker Omniframe that has Fire Element Attribute. She has decent damage burst capabilities and features the classic moveset from the original Black★Rock Shooter series.

• is she good?

Despite being a limited collaboration character debut, the fact that she's only an A rank character limits her performance to decent at best as a fire DPS. Compared with Nier: Automata collaboration in the past, BRS performance is far from the optimal standard performance in the current meta.
