if ur getting CW from anniversary you can get chrome Arclight from a tank selector from novice guidance missions and farm Liv Lux shards from character shard stages in the resource tab

you can get 2 chars for free in the dorm commissions shop
Alisa is a phys amp and will be paired with Rosetta from one of the free S rank selectors you'll get (there is NO other choice from the bigger selector that's remotely as worth as Rosetta, plus you'll get her sig from the weapon selector you'll get)
the other char from dorms is Ayla Kaleido who is the current DPS for the ice team so you could get Changyu Qilin and Bambinata Vitrum from standard banner but I'd rather save the pulls to not risk getting an S rank early
while you'll still have the selection after next patch it will just take a long time to get to pity because the passive income of standard banner pulls is very meh

The way I do it generally is if unit has a single frame I use the character name but if more than one then special nickname or just frame name
