Solo camu SSS is better than both, team Camu with Max investment SSS/SSS+ is on par or better than Lamia SSS depending on mission type (Battlefield she catches up waves 4-6 then lags behind final wave because Camu gets there faster and has his sig up by the time the boss is there and nukes it) and then much worse in Paincage because of obvious reasons.

Alright, I've watched a few different new player guides but there were still some things that were a little vague. I'm at lvl 33 which is where I was told was where I'd slow down, and I have. I just finished chapter 4 of story and I'm not sure where to grind out the last 2 levels.

Also I did get a noctis, but as of my understanding of how the teams work, you'd want lightning tank and lightning amplifier/support with noctis, but I just started playing so I don't have the thunder trio that goes with noctis or any lightning units at all. Should I be using him for early game or just stick to lucia dawn or bianca zero? I also have a nanami pulse that I rng'ed out of a base pull but I heard she's not very good

Also it hasn't been an issue so far, but the recommended BP for these campaign levels are getting to almost twice the amount I can get on my dps unit, should I be worrying about the BP disparity?

You don't start slowing down at lvl 33. Get a mentor and speed up your leveling.

I'll start from the end, BP is pretty irrelevant to actually judge char strength
if you can pass the stages you're good

for noctis, you can get Arclight and lux to have the budget lightning team
but usually the recommendation is to assemble the budget dark - Watanabe Astral, 21 XXI and Vera Rozen
XXI and Rozen will also come in handy when the new dark attacker - Lamia, comes in a couple of patches, so you'll have a team ready for her

from dorm commissions system you can get Ayla Kaleido for free, who is the current main DPS unit for ice, and you can get Bambinata Vitrum and Changyu Qilin to complete the ice team
