addpasta For me, Alpha CA is still useful especially after the Leap. I mean, I skipped Balter (because her gameplay is horribly boring/casual which makes the skill issues situation even worse) so of course Alpha is useful for me because she's the only physical Attacker on my account lol.
As for the Leap itself, it's surprisingly strong but requires very skillful gameplay with proper skill combos and proper QTE+CUB usage. Otherwise Alpha will do almost 0 damage as you can easily ruin her "split-second multi-hit thing" which is the strongest point of her entire core (you can spam it almost endlessly with DLT, solo runs are possible in other words) and I especially noticed the impact of this "multi-hit thing" in Stronghold and Pioneer Norman modes when my SS Alpha was killing enemy groups faster/more efficiently than my full Leap SS Rosetta (which was not the case before Alpha's leap).
And yeah, Alpha's new ult is also way stronger than Rosetta's, which is not surprising.
