Hmm well id say adding messy bangs to your characters hair is a good idea, adds complexity and adds depth to the art.
Maybe the tips of the longer part of the back hair could seperate a little earlier as longer smooth hair tends to flow a bit more. It's hard to explain without drawing if you get me

I really like your style for the eyes though, they're quite simplistic but in a good way, I tend to go over the top with detail on eyes but you've done it right for that style!!

I think it's really good tho, a bit of a different style to what I do so not too much else I can add unfortunately. Hopefully this is a little helpful?
