In order to sucessfully add a stack you must rev more than your last stack, therefore if you max rev a stack before your third you must waste a 3ping to reset the rev(not the stacks)

these are the steps ive taken to reach beginner-intermediate level:
step 1: learn katakana and hiragana
step 2: learn the basic 2000 vocabs with kanji and writing
step 3: learn basic grammar, a good way to learn that is Tae Kim's guide; imho if you can introduce yourself without basic phrases and describe your surrounding in a basic way youre already there
step 4: start immersing yourself in the language and any word you dont know just look it up, listen, listen ALOT but more importantly listen closely whats being said without looking at the subtitles
step 5: try your speaking abilities by attempting to express ideas(!) as if you would have to convey a very important thought or concept and translating that with a program like DeepL or even google translate, not translating sentences from your native language to japanese however, that will just reinforce you to translate between languages, i assume you want to become fluent and speak it freely maybe even like a native. For that you need to dissolve your knowledge of other languages while speaking. From my experience a good rule to live by is: If you heard it in the past or have derived what youre saying from another sentence said by a native its good, if youre building from scratch you will likely sound like a foreigner and your idea wont be understood. By doing so you will realize what words you lack and also have a much more profound understanding of grammatical and semantic structures.

coincidence, I'm on day 4 I can now read hiragana/furigana already and I've been brute forcing my way through by feeding myself constant info and trying to do things I can't, cheating on the spot to read/understand right thus actually making myself use it without knowing it. Basically turning learning into experience and activity

typing with jp keyboard both on PC and mobile, making up words and trying to write the letters step by step

practicing letter tests, letter matching etc.

my guess is with this pace I'll read hiragana/furigana fluently at the end of the month

especially writing is an insanely good way to memorise

since you have to type in romaji and then the letter you want appears

ezpz way is playing a game with hiragana and katakana, i learned and became semi fluent in hiragana/katakana within 2 days with that method, immediately proceeded to kanji after that, forced myself to read kanji only in hiragana, no english, i needed some voice feedback tho so kanji tree was a superb way of giving me everything i needed
