WuWa has pointers now for most chests. As it should be, when it rewards things that are "necessary".
I'm fairly sure Genshin still doesn't and chests are placed in the most random places. But last I played was Fontaine.

Either way I'd rather they both do something more than just slam down chests and call it a day.
WuWa at least tries to change things up with the fight things since 1.3. Where you need to do tasks. But they quickly dumbed it down to just don't get hit and kill them, so glue eaters can clear them with wallet.
