Also on the topic of villains. I remember playing Dragon Age Origins until I did literally everything.
So I ended up at one point having Loghain join the Gray Wardens. The main villain of the first half of the story.
It didn't end well.

Then you should know he kinda screws everyone over.
~2/3 through the story, you can finally judge him at the Landsmeet.
Probably the best story section in any game in my opinion. Every thread leads there and there are so many results in can have, it's crazy.

Just for Loghain's case you can have him duel to the death; have him join the Gray Wardens, which is practically a death sentence or I think you can imprison or exile him, I don't remember exactly.
And then depending on who he duels and how close you are to certain characters, each of these can have additional effects. Because his daugher is the regent.

It's just too good.
Then you have all the other DA games which are all absolute garbage without exceptions.
