The gameplay is mid at best, and 2 hours in it literally hits a wall for variety, becoming more stale than a Graham cracker left out till 2030.
The characters are just as soulless and are entirely uninteresting, they lack any of the nuance and intrigue that made companions in Inquisition fun and interesting.
Don't even get me STARTED on the messages they literally force feed you with no way to avoid it or skip it because almost nobody likes being preached to by a game. Taash is hands down the single worst character I've ever seen come from a BioWare game, and that's INCLUDING Andromeda's absolute disaster.
The story literally fails around like a headless chicken before dying off in less than an hour of gameplay. It sets up so much then literally blows its kneecaps off with a shotgun.
The ONLY good thing is the views.

2 was a rushed pile of garbage that already threw away the AI teammate coding stuff (which was one of the best features of Origins).
Inquisition had some good stuff, but it decided to be a copy of the Ubisoft open world slop. And the characters were already ALL DEI garbage. Not a single white or straight character. The only one being Harding who you couldn't even romance properly, because her route was half-cooked. Not a proper one.

Inquisition also threw many of the decisions you made into the garbage bin. Bringing back Leliana for example no matter what you picked. Veilguard just straight up ignores everything.

Origins was the first and last good Dragon Age.

@dull estuary The thing is when I play on easy (as long as I didn't get an encounter with a high-geared opponent), I'm able to tank multiple shots or at least have a higher chance to run away compared to when I play normal when I peeked for like 1 second and then immediately dropdead™️ without second chance to recover (plus, reviving is a myth in normal operations)

Trust me you'll find the same on Easy because since there's no value restrictions, anybody can bring Purple/Gold/Red Tier stuff and just clear the whole map (unless they get too cocky and get outplayed by someone using lower tier lol).

Also the Devs should really start restricting for Easy, like you can't enter if you're over 100k or not allow to bring Purple/Gold/Red ammo.
