I don't think that should be the case of loot mapper messing with exploration. If I remember correctly, people like the chest placements because on how it was well integrated to the world. After a bit of exploring without the lootmapper, it's possible to get most of the rewards and just use the lootmapper when you want to 100% the map. I think the chest placement is a nice touch for that.

its like 70% timing. If youre good at stuff like that, you'll be alright. But your average souls player will get disintegrated

Some boss can be very btch, some just git gud at parrying, some have hidden mechanism

weird mechanism that will cost you 80% of your health bar

like Genichiro floating passage is literally a frame 1 parry

If you've played Elden Ring, imagine that every boss is malenia, blade of miquella. But also youre a parry build

Sekiro was difficult leading upto Genichiro
then he beats the skills into you mid fight

then the game's pretty easy
