Her scenes with Ruka felt more like filler and was built up as an obstacle for overcome later. That never realised and she just ended up sacrifing herself, because why not?||

And then there's Gintama where A)the routine is played more colofully, and B)Shinpachi is voluntarily prone to some dumb stuff like being a hardcore idol fan

So they want to do that again with the observation report which uh... If you liked her, you might enjoy it. I sure didnt like her so it kinda... Was alright for the sake of lore? ||

A huge ||crux with aoi was her ptsd and withdrawn, so we never bothered to ask her for info. Ruka meanwhile is clearly knowledgable to get info we would need but she was an antagonist for most of the chapter. Both of them would have derailed the plot if they were kept alive. ||

My two cent of it is...||its just aight i guess? Not much going on other than some questionable plot stuff.
Like cough cough, among all the cast that involved, only lumi (because she literally on the place where it start) and encore(she seem have power over dream, atleast for her own dream) that really have justification why they are on somnoire outbreak, i can give benefit of doubt for camellya since she too obsessed with rover that she also dream of him and in return we meet her, other than that, yinlin, zhezhi and changli really have no clear justification really, and the reason is cough...character development...cough i mean "accident", also wtf happen with the last few min of camellya part, why suddenly we get some static image? Lmao.

Well the continuation is on the somnoire labyrinth part where its explain more about the somnoire lore and dream itself, making it started to root into the world building instead of just a random event, but yeah, just overall an ok score story, its simple story and they executed it well, not much else other than the fighting was fun, especially the sudden double boss at the end.|| Now time to wait for the last part of somnoire and to clear camellya character story.

I attribute the problem more to the fact that Penacony story is bloated. The plotline is good overall. But in terms of wordiness, I prefer Belobog. There wasn't really much useless bloat in the dialogue.
It's at least still better than Genshin's bloat.

Even if a main story is about a different character than MC for a part, should be fine too, if the character is important for the story.

Thing I missed from both Genshin and WuWa is the lack of real companions.
In Genshin it's just MC and Paimon. And Paimon is more just a mouthpiece and a tool to keep regurgitating whatever happened every 10 minutes than an actual character in the story.
For WuWa you have MC and Abby is going to be shoved in, At least Abby doesn't do what Paimon did (yet). But I'm 99% sure MC will ditch everyone when 2.0 drops.

In fact they ditched everyone already in 1.3 and 1.4.

I think so. Having a persistent group is always a plus. It means you are not alone.

And at the end of the day MC will still be alone.

Since he's not from Strinova (basically he came from another world), he's unable to go paper mode. But to compensate that, he's pre-built with magnet gloves and shoes for climbing, wingsuit for gliding down.
He also has hardened shell for his passive which already has damage reduction from any weapon type since he can't go paper mode to maneuver while reloading and also he can still run while reloading. He's equipped with a machine pistol and riot shield which replaced the paper mode mechanic with. (Just like paper mode, he can't shoot while shielding)

Essentially, what I did was use this Arcana called Silent Old Sanctuary (XX) which gives +3 Reroll, Skip, and Banish. Also gives +20% Might and -8% Cooldown for each active weapon slot left empty.

And since I restrict the weapon to just one weapon (which is Vicious Hunger that he got as his starter weapon), well...

Iunno about character generation stuff, but i would love to see if they ever goes into leap mechanic for wuwa, for example if an old char ever unable to clear toa anymore and they are on T2, if a leap make them jump itu T1.5 or 1 and just make it enough to clear TOA *3, that would be gucci

Even then if isnt, they would still be usable to clear floor 1-3 of each tower more fun i guess

Yes, we don't need the leap skills to make them T0 or anything, just make them powerful enough to still be relevant and able to clear all content. Tho I'm not that sure leap skills will ever happened in WuWa... ||Some persons say that 2.0 will bring gen 2 characters with more mechanics similar to how pgr does it, so it wouldn't be surprising to have leap skills. all this is pure speculation tho||

I don't mind powercreep for every big version, like 2.x characters being stronger than 1.x ones and so one, cuz it does make sense in some ways imo and it still a gacha, so they gotta have selling arguments

But like, when 4.x (that's just an example), they could rework 1.x characters with either, like @amber wadi suggested, alternate version of the character or maybe leap skills

elemental system is pretty cool yeah, you can for example do crazy stuff like 350k plunges with QiQi

hope Kuro focus on creative gameplay designs rather then powercreep. WuWa combat is much more complex then Genshin so no reason why they should not be able to beat genshin at that aspect too.

yeah, why in pgr leap didnt really work is because kit very very related to score number, so there no limit to powercreep and the ceiling basically, where as for the kind of endgame content like ToA, the bare minimum is only need to be able to clear the tower stage in *3, and that it, if newer char can clear for example the tower in less than 2 minute, then just make the leaped char able to clear it around 1.45 to 2 Minute, just enough basically and that is will be very gucci

those that want to clear it as less time as possible is really the hardcore one, and since there no scoreboard, doesnt really any necessary other than to flex

I do believe scoreboards and stuff like that will appear at one point, it's a perfect game for that kind of stuff

Easy to understand, hard to master, and at high level very high to play and be good at it, it's really one of the best game to introduce scoreboards

well as long its not competetive one where top 100 get better reward then its a welcome one, as of now? they actually really doing a great job for ToA reward, really, all you need is just to clear the 2 side tower and you alreayd get 90% of the astrites, getting 24/30. clearing the last two 27 and 30 star only gives you like, only 120? not really that much of miss

and i can really feel the different for middle tower vs side tower, middle really pump out the casualness out of you, where side tower floor *4 is just a casual walk

Yes, but given PGR I wouldn't be too confident about not getting more rewards if you're higher in the ranking. It'll probably not a huge miss of rewards like PGR, but you'll still miss a bit. And yeah, I'm not able to clear all of the ToA everytime but I never miss that much on the actual rewards

It still powercreep in my books, if a character get way better because of support, it's power creep, like how Epitaph became the best tank in the fire team and actually make the fire team way better by miles
