Iroha is good for starting Chains, because her skills have no CD whatsoever. It relies on her just attacking constantly to keep pushing them. But they only have a 17% chance by default. That's where you could throw in Impairment chance Cards. But honestly feels like a waste seeing as Chains have like a 50s CD or something.

I think so. You will trigger your chains anyways, but maybe a bit later. It's mostly for Tension anyways.

And with Food and Combat init (which you definitely do on Dungeon bosses) you start in Extreme Tension anyways.

She relies heavily on knowing the enemies. But basically there is no CD for Deflect (you just need to do basic attack twice to be able to use it).

If you don't Deflect you don't build stacks. If you build stacks with Deflects, then you can hit for 10k+

2nd passive makes her also lose HP to a certain % to increase her damage by a lot.
So yeah. If she gets hit, she dies.
Used her on Shark. One charged skill removes one bar from it. It was funny, when I charged up 2. Used them, then used ult, which maxes her stacks and used charged 2 more times. And boss was already at half HP in seconds.

I still have the XB match left from story.
But story not scaling and capping your levels is a plus in my books.
There are problems though. Like spending Stamina being introduced very late. And Shark sort of requires you to build sets already at that point. Which you can only do with spending Stamina. And about 1 days worth is just not enough.

In the Demo it's a non-issue, because you get a lot of stamina pots and rolls.

Tension Cards also force you to roll, because you can't really go far with the basic ones.

In Genshin/WuWa/HSR/etc you get basic weapons (which are Tension card equivalents) from chests. So you have at least a handful of options.

They should put at least common set pieces into chests, so you have some gear on by the time you need it. And maybe a few select Tension cards.

And for gacha, the currency you get for pulling a maxed out Tension Card is the same as a duplicate that increases Ascension. This is kinda not good in a way. You literally start getting less "value".

Gameplay is sort of fun at first, but there is just isn't that much enemy variety. Lineups are fixed too.

Once you pull, it's not a problem. It's more that the game early on pressures you to spend your pulls.

Like the first version as it is won't let you to save it.

There could be a few more combat OST too. After going through hundreds of fights and listening to the 3 samey combat tracks, it starts to drive you crazy.

There are also good things in it that have some irritating downsides.
Like you can grind up the level of characters by just endlessly farming enemies. So it's not another stamina sink.
On the other hand, enemies will always aggro at you, forcing you into fights you might now want to do while exploring.
It becomes annoying, especially with the shoe rat thingies (and the muscly variants). Because their overworld speed is the same as yours, so once they are close enough, you literally can't initiate on them or leave them behind.

And the muscle rats are HP sponges without Enoki.
