Well, the time has come.
I'm quitting PGR.

These 3 years have been very fun; after all, PGR has been my favourite game all that time. I've experienced quite a lot in that timeframe.., but it's time to say goodbye.

Progressively, I've become more and more bored of the game, especially gacha games. They haven't been the same to me as they were 2 years ago. Heck, I may even quit WW the start of next year.
Anime itself hasn't been that big of a thing to me, that it used to be before, as well.

And I have to move on.
Now, I may have not talked a lot in this discord, that I've been in since 2021, and I know some messages were kinda tasteless, but I had fun. There was fun.

Almost all newer animes have the same old same old tropes and plots and stuff

It's like they're sticking to the same formula but changing one thing only

Unless I find some anime that really makes me bing watch it I'll probably just stop after the first 3 episodes

Me still in a state of confusion as to how burnout even occurs
I don't think about tropes, or get too locked in the grind because I play exactly for how long I want to, meta and other things that typically kill passion do not exist in my regimen

As far as anime, the same thing applies. I watch and actually get invested in the characters, I'm not looking too hard at the tropes or anything, I'm just watching the anime, laughing when I find it funny, etc.
Other games like Warframe where people who only played for maybe a year or less are burned out, and here I am 10 years deep and still playing/streaming the game with no lack of passion

That game had great music, worldbuilding, and art direction. Only some questionable narrative choices and open-world hiccups held it back.
