I wish they'd do something about Chinese basically invading all servers in the game recently. Because of the ping difference you end up trading (killing each other at the same time) with them. And there is also peekers advantage in the game, which favors high ping.

Almost. Quick play is just PvP. There your goal is to interact with 4 clues first to get the "Wellspring". Then it starts ticking down on you. You win if you have the Wellspring at the end. The person killing you gets the Wellspring. Killing people while having it reduces the timer. It's basically a last man standing. Obviously everyone only has 1 life.

In Bounty Hunt you need to Hunt down the boss and kill it, hold out until it banishes, then take the bounty and extract.

With 1k hour I can roughly tell where the boss will be after the first clue. So we pick up the clue. We hear some dimwit on the compound to the east scaring some birds or shooting at something. I look at the map, boss is to the south. So we just go at the enemy instead of the boss.

Sounds more fun. From my prespective, every player can suprise you be it in build or what dastardly plans. the bosses while challenging dont have many tricks up their sleeves

Bosses are more annoying than hard now. But that's the disadvantage of any PvE content in any game.
