That math was implemented faulty by a commonly used library and that fault can be used to execute code on your device. If done correctly, that means that if you just scroll through Discord, your entire Device might get compromised. Sadly, I can't tell you which apps have updated the library already, but staying up-to-date with your apps is always a good idea. If you feel insecure, look into disabling the automatic display of images in your applications.
