but i partly understood the reason. i mean, Kal'tsit is the OC of Lowlight. she's a Mary Sue

smart? check. strong? check. always in the right even with sometimes absurd justification? check

i still remember i was baffled when reading ch.7, during the part where she justified choosing Rosmontis to be an Annihilation Specialist. that's basically assigning a 14 year old to be skilled killers.

meanwhile in PGR, Jamilah who assigned Sophia to be her sword (which implied that she also do some dirty work for her), come clean in her letter to Hassan. she felt that she's guilty assigning a teen to do that kind of work.

at the very least, Jamilah didn't try to play the saint and wipe the dirt on her hands. unlike Kal
