also, maybe you have noticed this. but it just came to me after i watched a playthrough of TC3 again a few years ago (it's been years since i turned on my PS2)

you see, in the final stage, Alan and Wesley shot the roof of the launch site right? and the roof made the missiles go haywire. however, from Alicia's POV outside, only the building got destroyed with no explosion despite the so called highly-dangerous missiles tumbling at one another.

i used to think, "well, can't have the two main characters die. let's sacrifice some logic here".

then, in the playthrough i watched a few years ago, i realized the reason why. in Alicia's mode, Jake was seen trying to escape by carrying something inside the helicopter. that thing is the missile's warhead.

hence no explosion when Alan and Wesley destroyed the launch site, but there was when Jake and his helicopter fell from the cliff. in conclusion, even if Alan and Wesley didn't do anything, the missiles would only cause huge dent on Lukano upon arriving
