If you were mentioning a quick scope, you actually can, but 90% you're missing. It's not like you are hoping the round you fired is going to hit it's head while not aiming the optic, factor in wind speed and bullet fall, and fire dead accurately in any definition of “quick”.

Have you tried holding a laser pointer still enough in one hand that there is no noticeable movement on a distant wall? That is what magnified aiming can be like without focusing or rest (bipod, monopod, rock, etc).

In games, it's perfectly calculated that your crosshair (dead center screen of the optic) will not move even when the scope zoom overlay effect is triggered.

In real life, any motion can drastically change where the weapon aims, even when prone and resting, if the scope is powerful enough.

The Star Model 30 was an improved version of the Star Model 28 Pistol with the extractor in the normal location. Start of on how to handle a firearm or you commonly called it "gun": Start of by stand up, grap the grip of the weapon, raised both arms up. You will see two sights on top of the receiver depending on what firearm are you holding it could be an assault rifle, pistol carbine, submachine gun, etc. Start of the sight we have the rear sight he one with two pitch notch U-like shaped. This can be honed using something called a dime drill, basically you put a small coin balanced on the barrel of the weapon and dry-fire without causing it to fall off (you can use a D20 balanced on a flat part of the weapon if, like many slide pistols, there is not a good place to put a coin on a rounded surface). Charge/cock the weapon and repeat, until you can consistently squeeze the trigger to release the hammer without causing a change in aspect sufficient to make the dime/die fall. Mastering this is usually a matter of balancing between the tendency to grip the weapon too tightly (with attendant shaking) and too loosely (if the fall of the hammer causes the dime/die to drop, then you are unlikely to control the recoil adequately in actual shooting). You want a firm grip that positively controls the orientation of your weapon but without causing undue fatigue or strain.

People who have handled firearms for a long time often forget the first step but sure luckily I'm not one of those guys, that is most because it is a skill that easily transfers across different weapons and it thus is easy to forget having learned it in the first place. Most experienced shooters remain highly conscious of developing sight picture because various models of weapons have different sight pictures. Anyone that shoots regularly will be well aware of the importance of properly sighting in a weapon, even if they only have experience with one model of firearm.

Speed second. If you practice to the point where you can shoot accurately every time and keep practicing, the speed will come.
