Other than that, it is different, and so far I prefer even early game WuWa combat to early game PGR.

But PGR has the same flaw as HI3 it seems: old unit = complete ass and "old kit" that still aligns with old combat systems.
New unit = very good and fun to play.
So can't really say it's fair judgement in terms of combat gameplay in PGR.

Also read they are finally doing "open world" in PGR, like HI3 did with part 2.
But haven't experienced that either.

In terms of dupes WuWa is "better" Most characters are perfectly fine with only one copy and don't require weapons.

It's not as bad as in HI3 (and seemingly PGR).

Like, in WuWa, 1.0 characters are powercrept statistically, but still usable with enough investment if you don't chase the perfect scores.
Sure, WuWa is only in 3.x so it's not that far off, so it ain't "that bad yet". a 4 star can still clear end-game modes solo, in a team-focused combat system.

HSR is joke, and characters are powercrept 4 patches after release basically

But in Hi3 for example, every part 1 character (ie: 90% of the characters in the game) are basically dead content, with gear that is either unobtainable or so hard to farm you may as well just whale for a new character. Filled with convoluted crafting systems that make you question your sanity. The characters can't even jump in combat, and are completely missin' a new game mechanic that functionally stops you from usin' them with new characters - and even a BIS old character is dog water compared to an unleveled "part 2 character" will do nothin' comparatively. Also, characters are completely unplayable without gear.
Granted: they do have a "leap" system in hi3 too, to make old characters fit the new game mechanic, so there is that.

And from what I have gathered, PGR is not that different from what I just said about HI3.

End-game has elemental resistances, and BIS teams are typically formed based on what buffs characters provide.
