both of them sufficient just for daily but you might need a subscription if you want a stable stream when you play time sensitive content like ppc or wz, internet and server matter the most
if you want to play it on laptop, try geforce now since pgr is available in steam rn. free tier of GFN (depends on country) allows you to play 1 hour straight before ask you to reopen and get in queue again (practically as long as you want for free)

it's for a character you get for free through playing her bond story and doing service missions, f2p shouldn't roll it. they add some bonuses for the people that are rolling copies for higher ranks

Think of them as dupes.
Base is S, 30 shards (one more copy, which is always free) is SS, one more copy is SS3 (usually a power spike), two more copies (so 4 pulled/obtained in total) is SSS.

Depends on the frame.
For example, Nirvatia can be upgraded to SS6 absolutely for free in two weeks I think. Plus 40 shards from vouchers (which are also technically free, but slow to earn). So if someone has vouchers at hand, they can SSS her as early, as April, 1.
