First, farm the normal way until you unlock awakening and sand table reconstruction
Once you got the ability to rewind using sand table reconstruction, you can speedrun this way

1. choose latest difficulty but never go beyond bitter freeze. its the best one
2. choose proxy campaign, that way you can "skip" any battle by spending military tokens. this tokens is crucial and could be obtained with farming as many reds as you can
3. choose any char that give the most red multiplier. if there's none just choose one that has the most multiplier in total
4. Rewinding is going back to the past 3 days. So please mind this if you wanna rewind, make sure in the past 3 days you have explored as many red tiles
5. Usually you will have enough military tokens by the time you get to the 2nd stage. so you can just proxy battle with military tokens since then
6. Max EXP you can get from this mode is 3800. each tile you explore will give you 15 exp. To put it simply your final exp is dominated by how many tiles you have explored x difficulty multiplier (4x for bitter freeze). So you need to approximately explore 64 tiles to get max EXP then you can do early tally. 64 tiles is easy to achieve with rewinding, around 2 stages and a bit of 3rd stage. so every farm run is just a few minutes
7. beware of some event option, there's an option where you will locked in no-red stages at all
