so you kinda have to dodge right before you get hit
like, split second before, even though your character is realllllly slowed down

you can avoid getting hit for sure by dodging about a whole second before they hit you, and you won't take damage or knockback
but the game is buggy and will still increase the counter for being hit by [matrix collapse] unless the dodge is RIGHT before you get hit.

in the twin's first [matrix collapse], they jump back and forth 3 times before both leaping into the air, and slowing down before they jump at you.
the earliest you can press dodge to avoid getting hit is at the top of their 3rd jump. this WILL increase count of getting hit by [matrix collapse] but will NOT increase overall hit count for the inferno difficulty.
the other attacks the twins do with [matrix collapse] are generally just one of them pausing for a bit and then rushing at you. you kinda just have to have good reaction speed and good timing judgement for this.

you're in a prison to start with, you have basic sword, bow, shield (you can only carry 2 at a time)
you kill things for gold and cells
gold you can use at merchants when you find them to buy better weapons / utility items (you can also find these in chests or randomly dropped by mobs)
cells you use for permanent upgrades, or to unlock new weapons via blueprint
many stages, you win if you don't die. if you die you restart with nothing in the prison again, but you keep any permanent upgrades (no direct stat buffs or anything exist)
and if clearing the game isn't enough for you, the boss drops a "boss stem cell", which basically just unlocks harder difficulties. secret boss exists when you reach 5bsc.
