Well if you're a f2p player, and when the inevitable come and proceed to get a rate off on a limited weapon, depends on how NECESSARY the said weapon is to the limited character, you can use the 2 Liv weapon and the rate off weapon for scrap and get the new character weapon.

Not really the worst plan if you're a f2p and you can keep the weapon calibration for whoever the next limited character is. Be aware this is a very strict f2p planning especially if you want to stay playing the game longer.

Otherwise using it as resonance material is the best and quickest method to make use of dupes.
