Its just minmaxxing at best, the atk attribute at 4, 5 and 6 are often different. Cottie's 456 atk stat being usually higher than sig memories

I'd go further and say instead of having dv in harmony, have all dv in slots 2 4 5 and 6 for that extra atk and other sets be in harmony instead (i.e. 2guin on 1 and 3 and guin harmony, or 2eins on 1 and 3, and guin harmony, etc.)

So technically Catherine is better to be in bottom than dv, but that's only if she's being used for a particular set (for example in Vero's support phys build)

Some memory have higher stat than the others, and only bottom memory has atk stat
That's why you put smth like cottie on bottom to get higher atk stat than putting signature memory for example

And top memo is crit/hp

It is very worth it to sss her especially for competitive players that want the best value/potential of her.

However, it's a lot of investment for new players. New players should save and spend their bc wisely as the new anniversary update is near. So it is okay if you don't sss her. The nice spot if you're not gonna sss her is ss, not ss3. If you want a simple way to put it: if ss is 1 and sss is 2, ss3 is just 1.000001. of course this sounds exaggerated, it's just to show how significant sss is from ss compared to ss3 from ss.

So, if you're not planning to sss her in the near future / don't have enough resources. Ss is fine, you can just get S from gacha + 30 shard from the phantom pain shop. But if you insist on sss-ing her, make sure you have enough bc/yellow card/||money|| and proper management plan to not brick your account.

Either way, you should wait after the anniversary update. Not only just to prevent impulsive move right now, there's a lot of new stuff over there, who knows something new has caught your eyes. The choice is yours
