The first thing.

SSS rank Weave is "needed" because in this case, we would consider that you have SS rank Startrail along with Weave. The thing is that SS rank Startrail and non SSS rank Weave can function perfectly fine for a lightning team.

Now the real issue is that because Startrail has a broken kit, she can sustain her DPS long enough to the point that swapping out to other characters is actually a damage loss compared to solo DPS Startrail.

Now why SSS rank is needed for this is that she actually has good enough damage to finally make that "swapping out Startrail" finally worth it and doesn't result in major damage loss in the long run.

When you're talking for the best/optimal team and setup for score, we would always mention how you would prefer to do Solo dps Startrail when you don't have SSS rank Weave for the best performance you can get out of your team.

For Warzone and anything else, you simply use both Crepuscule and Daemonissa no matter what the rank

Although the "optimal" rotation for that team would be depending on your specific investment

Now, specifically for Pain Cage mode and specifically for the weaker boss, SSS rank Daemonissa can get faster time compared to SS rank Crepuscule.

But that barely relevant when you only need to get 1.8m score in Pain Cage every week

And having both Crepuscule and Daemonissa would already guarantee you to get enough or sufficient score to reach that
