4 Chen could work if you have her 6* weapon and you harmonize it, but the reason Darwin is because it grants 3% (one orb pinged) extra damage up to 15% (5 orbs pinged) for 5s

This is very useful for her since her highest damage is caused by the red orb and her ultimate during her frost mode. Frost mode has a drain time that fits perfectly with Darwin buff time, So you should take advantage of that time window to always launch the attacks with red orbs and Ultimate.
