The higher the better of course. Though you won't always get max stacks like sometimes the bosses dash out of your range in the middle of your attack, or in warzone the early mobs just die before you can build stacks. But you never delay your rotation just because you couldn't get max stacks.

I used to do the same except I tap the jump button to get the ground instead of basic. But I think using red to get to ground then blue is still faster since you're still building gauge with red while also getting to the ground, reducing your animation from 3 moves to just 2 moves instead.

On your home screen at the top left you should see an event called thunderbolt manual, if its not there, it will be in the event tab and you will need to scroll down until you see it.

it has a selector up to Nanami startrail in there, its permanent so you don't need to spend EVERYTHING into it right now but it should eventually be a goal to put left over currency into.
