if you are only interested in combat content it will be a while until you can enjoy the game fully. Most of the endgame content in this game is locked behind multiple teams with meta characters if you want to be competitive. And it takes some time to get to that point especially as a f2p. The game still gives you a lot of resources at the beginning to build some good characters but you will run out of that juice at some point and all you'll do is waiting for weeklies to get more resources to progress.
