Hi everyone! I’ve just returned to Punishing: Gray Raven after a very long break and I noticed that the UI and events seem very different now. I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed and not sure what I should prioritize first.

Could any veteran players help guide me? Here are a few things I’d love advice on:

• What are the most important daily/weekly tasks to focus on in the current version?
• Which event content is essential for returning players, especially in terms of gear, resources, or limited characters?
• Are there any story arcs or modes I should revisit to catch up with lore or mechanics?
• Has the meta shifted dramatically, and should I rework my character team compositions?

Events themselves don't really have an order of what is most essential just completing them all and getting their rewards/characters.

• Special challenges and alternative challenges are permanent, only the regular challenges reset weekly.

• Thunder Manual gets you Feral and Crimson weave, as well as their Sigs for free.

• Goal & Tutorial is the beginner resource help

• In the event tab, there's also Insatiable Research that you can do to get Lilith and her Sig for free after doing missions.

• I can't help with story cuz I dont read

• The meta is changing drastically because globals server is trying to level with CN servers. In 2 updates, so about Sep., we'd be at the same update as CN server.

• Yeah, you most likely need to rework your teams.

• You should get Startrail from the A rank Member Target

PPC and warzone are the main ones since they give you bc for just participating. PPC also gives you skulls required to SS your characters
norman and CR still give really important materials tho so be sure to do them (they reset biweekly)
norman gives currency to get weapon resonances
CR gives materials to harmonize your weapon (Put 2pc memory on your weapon)

Id say about 1w, you can finish it tdy if youre really committed

yes it is permanant, lilith is the current dark dps (until bianca comes out)
her cub sig +20 shards is free so theres that too

yes you should get at least 3-4 teams along with at lesat 1 affix team
the easiest being ice, dark and fire rn since 2/3 of ice is free, dark team can pretty much just be lilith and vera is on banner and is a busted dps
i reccomend you pick up wata over qu from the blissful gifts selector since a team cant work without a tank

startrail is an aboslute must since shes in 4 teams in the meta (shes also just the entire lightning team so theres that)
every character that releases will be meta in some sort of way. Every patch also gives enough to pull those characters so i reccomend pulling both current on banner characters.
Id prioritze vera first over selena just beccause the versatility she brings
selena is meta in 2 teams, the phys team and the glacio team. She does a lot of dmg in both teams and very convincingly. In the glacio team 2/3 of her team is also free so theres an affix team you can get.
if you want to get solacetune then by all means do so, i reccomend getting startrail and pyroath over her tho

• Clash reflection gives weapon harmony mats, but it can be kinda difficult.

• Norman revival can help get your CUBs to SS, but other than so, it's not really important.

• War zone doesn't give much resource, but it's really easy to clear

• Thunder Manual clearance can depend since it requires quite a few of resources to fully complete it.

• Lilith is permanent. The whole Thunderbolt Manual is permanent.

• Start building your teams. The characters I wrote out beforehand would still be meta even once we reach updates with CN server.

• Startrail is a must-have because she's really strong and easy to play, and she goes in a lot of teams.

• Pianissimo and Geravoir are both the newest characters right now, so they'll be meta for a while, but you should prioritise Geravoir first since she's flexibie in a lot of teams and can dish out good dmg even without her sig

• Solacetune is needed if you want to play Ultima Slash, which is the current CN meta team

all of your characters are outdated i wouldnt reccomend investing anything into them. While they are somewhat dead you can still use them to do lower levels of ppc and wz

only one i can think of is lux cw and garnet but just get startrail instead and she can solo

thats what this game is about. matching characters with matching elements and affixes

vera doesnt do well without it especially if youre making her a main dps but she doesnt require it for proper rotations, same thing with startrail. All characters require SS to be functional;

• No good teams with your current roster. It's best you just wait to get startrail to solo.

• You should build around elements yea. You could probably get Pianissimo, solacetune, and echo for the full physical team once u have them all,

• Startrail is the entire lightning team, so just get her feral, and another QTE bot for lightning.

• You could get Qu from the qu selector from logging in for the ice team, but Epitaph would be a better choice to get in the selector.

• You can pair epitaph with vera for Fire team, and get pyroath another day

• Everyone needs their Sig to be good. Startrail and geravoir can do rotations without it tho.

• Safest investment is to just get startrail and build her lmao. She can pretty much solo everything. And you'd have a built CW to help complete other content like PPC for when you can't use startrail
