First, in those free selector there is NO NANAMI. Nanami is in thunderous research or how it is called, I don't remember.
Second is the sheer fact that Wata will be better than Nanami in a fire content because he is a fire unit, imagine. He works 100% against fire related content, while Nanami is trying to negate huge disadvantages with her huge damage.
Nanami is a good option, ngl. But the best option is to invest into every element team. It was all about WZ btw. In PPC Nanami will perform negatively.

building chars is pretty easy

u just spam resource stage and buy mems do reso hypertunes etc

having signature matters a lot for some

especially for harmony and reso on weapons adding a ton of power

thats why it feels slower for you

when I was a newer player I was also missing out on rewards just cos my chars were weak

like entire normal mode is a lot of BC

doing clash reflection gives a lot of RND cards

That's perfrectly fine. You're not in the endgame yet. I recommend focusing building Crimson Weave for your lightning since you don't seem to have Nanami.
And also, build Lilith for your Dark Team.
