Can you explain what you are trying to do? Is the apple red and green, or is it supposed to be a mixture? Red and green are complementary colors, so if they are mixed it would create gray.
If you’re inexperienced with coloring in general, there’s no shame in simply coloring red things red and yellow things yellow. Color theory can be difficult to master.
Cause I saw some videos about how if you put red on green it would look better
But I never really colored before
I just draw traditionally

Yeah, then I think you should get comfortable with coloring in general before trying out tricks you see in videos. You should establish a solid coloring technique first, and once you have that foundation you can confidently proceed to use more sophisticated color theory.
I haven’t got any videos to share but I’m sure any on youtube would help.
